Sailing boat and catamaran week hire Ibiza: General conditions

All prices include VAT (21%) and other taxes.
When skipper is optional, you can sail the boat yourself or you can hire a skipper for 150 euros per day
Mooring at the port is included for check-in and check-out for most boats only when the marina grants the spot. Otherwise, the check-in and the embarking process will be carried out with the dinghy.
In order to secure your booking, we usually ask for 50% of the total cost of the rental fee.
Weeks are normally scheduled from Saturdays to Fridays on most boats. Check-in is usually Saturdays at 16:00 and check-out Fridays at 20:00 with an overnight stay until Saturday at 8:00 am when possible.

Disembarking for lunch is always a great idea

Thinking about having lunch at one of the many restaurants located on the beaches we will be sailing by? Not a problem! In fact, we can even lend you a hand with your reservation. During high season, reserving a table can become a headache. Not to worry though, we will do everything we can to land you that perfect spot for lunch.

From arranging a reservation by Illetes- a beautiful beach in Formentera- at an upscale location such as Molì de la Sal, Juan y Andrea, Es Ministre, Tanga, El Pirata, Tiburon or Beso Beach (former Big Sur) to coordinating anchorage by the bay of San Antonio in Calabassa or Cala Conta and disembarking to eat at well known spots such as CBBC, Silla dens Bosc, Ses Roques or Sunset Ashram. With a simple heads up, we will be sure to point you in the best direction.

In case you decide that you do not want to spend a minute longer than needed off the boat, the option to bring food on board is always available. All vessels that we offer on our boat trips in Ibiza are equipped with a spacious cool box that you can fill with ice and your choice of food and drinks.

OPTION 1: Catamarans and sailing boats

Choosing one of our catamarans or sailing boats will only lead to a marvellous boat tour in Ibiza. For day excursions, most of our catamarans and sailing boats fit up to 11 people on board- this does not include our wonderful skipper.

For those who haven’t spent much time on a sailing boat, we usually recommend going with the catamaran. What most differs a catamaran from a sailing boat are the two hulls it contains. A catamaran has the characteristic of two sailing boats side by side making it, not only wider, but more stable and comfortable than a traditional sailing boat as well. Also, who could forget the trampolines at the front of the catamaran? Let’s be honest, this will possibly be your favourite spot to lie down while sailing!

Although the port or beach where you embark from can vary depending on the itinerary planned, embarking usually takes place around noon at the yacht club in San Antonio. Here begins our sailing adventure!

After an hour of sailing we will arrive at Cala Bassa The waters of Cala Bassa are so transparent that our anchor will be seen at depths over 12 meters. While anchored at Cala Bassa we can swim around the catamaran, snorkel the stunning turquoise waters, challenge ourselves paddle boarding, or take a ride to the beach on the zodiac for some lunch at the many restaurants, cafes and beach bars Cala bassa has to offer.

Es Cavallet beach Formentera — Yes! we love IBIZA!

After lunch, we can choose to continue beach hopping to Playas de Comte, between Ibiza and Isla del Bosque, or set sail for the island of Conejera, where, because it is a natural reserve, we will not be able to disembark but we can enjoy diving into the clear waters or go snorkelling around the impressive marine reserve filled with huge banks of coloured fish.

We then will weigh anchor and sail back to our port, stopping by Café del Mar for the most remarkable sunset.

You can board our catamaran around 12:00 at the Yacht Club in San Antonio in Ibiza. We will sail for around one and a half hours and anchor at the beautiful CalaBassa beach, where you can have lunch on board or disembark at the amazing CalaBassa Beach Club.

We always recommend disembarking for lunch so you can stretch your legs and experience one of the most amazing beaches on the island. After lunch, we will sail all the way to Playas de Compte (also known as Cala Conta), approximately an hour away from CalaBassa. Or the famous restaurant Villa Mercedes with its colonial atmosphere, located just across from the yacht club. The closest option is the yacht club restaurant, which offers fresh fish, seafood and paella specialties, and excellent meat. Alternatively, you can reach restaurant Sa Capella with a 10-minute taxi ride. It was an old church which has been restored and converted into a restaurant.

Daily rates range between 450 (half day in low season) and 1,900 euros (full day in high season). All our hen party Ibiza fees include taxes, VAT, cleaning fee, professional skipper, and fuel. So pretty much everything is included except for food and drinks that are usually provided by our guests of bachelorette parties in Ibiza and Formentera.

Regardless of the itinerary you choose for your boat excursion, the typical day charter carries on for a total of 8 hours. The most common day trip will take you from Ibiza town to the northern shores of Formentera Island- a small island located south of Ibiza. With our power boats, it will take approximately 20 minutes to arrive in front of the beautiful turquoise waters of Illetas Beach, where you can disembark for a delicious lunch. All these lavish yachts allow overnight stay, so we welcome you to continue your holiday for as long as you’d like! Please take into account that the capacity of these vessels is not the same when chartered for a day trip with no overnight stay as it is when they are rented for nights at sea.

Most charter yachts in Ibiza and Formentera can carry up to 12 guests, plus the crew, if they are only rented for a full day of fun and sun. On the contrary, when spending the night, the number of staterooms on the boat will limit the number of guests that the vessel can hold throughout our client’s stay. Usually, the overnight maximum capacity aboard are grand yachts is an average of 6 to 8 people.

What's a charter power yacht

A power yacht is a vessel with sometimes one, but generally two, internal combustion engines as its only mean of propulsion. All our yachts have 4 stroke driven cylinders that move through its rotation to a crankshaft, which in turn is connected to a gearbox that connects the propeller.

On the flat sea, yachts at full speed can reach up to an astonishing speed of 40 knots, which is roughly 80 kilometers per hour. This is an absurd velocity at sea! It is equivalent to 300 Kilometres an hour on the road. Now that is what we call fast!!

The prices shown in the table above include all taxes, snorkel equipment, skipper and fuel to go from our base in Porroig, near the airport of Ibiza, next to Blue Marlin Cala Jondal, to the best beaches of Formentera (Illetas and Cavall d'en Borras) and the paradisiacal island of Espalmador.

We also offer a second itinerary, different from that of Formentera, to visit the magical island of Es Vedrà and the beaches of Cala D'hort, Cala Llentrisca and Sa Caleta.

If instead of departing from the bay of Porroig you prefer to do it from Playa de Embossa (at the public dock of Figueretas in front of the bar Albatros) you can do so with an additional fee of 300 euros above the normal price.

You can also combine both itineraries (Formentera and Es Vedrà) for an additional 200 euros above the normal price.

General rental conditions of Speed boats in Ibiza without skipper

Prices DO include 21% VAT.
5% discount is available on rentals for 7 or more days.
Optional skipper is available for 150 euros per day. The boats that already have the skipper included in the price are the Sea Rays and the Cranchi.
Boarding can be done starting at 10:00am. Disembarking must take place before 19:00.
Fuel is not included (except for Sea Rays and Cranchi that the fuel is included in the price). The average cost of gasoline to go from the city of Ibiza to Illetes beach in the north of Formentera and back to Ibiza is about 80 euros for speed boats with one engine and 120 euros for speed boats with two engines.
For boats that are rented without skipper, one must leave a deposit of 1,500 euros that can be paid by credit card on the day of boarding.
To secure the reservation it is necessary to pay half of the rental price. On the day that boarding takes place, the rest can be settled in cash upon arrival at the boat.
