Ibiza Boat Hire: Traveling the Pitiusas Islands for a week

We are going to recommend you to rent a sailboat or catamaran for one week in Ibiza. To make this wonderful journey during a week, there’s time enough to see different interesting spots in the Pitiusas Islands by Ibiza Boat Hire.

First day on your rental boat

We would start your week long journey with Ibiza Boat Hire after the typical paperwork, grocery shopping… etc, it is important that you stock up for a few days without having to buy anything. Please remember the mariners courtesy of providing food for your captain and hostess if you choose to have one!

Cala Salada beach Ibiza
Cala Salada meaning Salty Bay is one amazing bay to spend the afternoon.

The first obligatory stop would be in Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta, (they are next to one another) and one of the favorite coves for many. Since, in a small space, it contains some of the most beautiful waters of the island, perfect to go with your Ibiza Boat Hire. In addition, due to its complicated access, it has helped to maintain the essence and purity of it as a tourist enclave.

I would recommend sleeping here, as it is a quiet area and the rocking of the boat will be minimal.

A view of the night sky at Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta… Ibiza never seizes to amaze!

I would recommend sleeping here, as it is a quiet area and the rocking of the boat will be minimal.

Second day on board your sailing boat

On the second day on board your sailboat rental Ibiza or catamaran rental Ibiza, we would sail directly towards the bay of Cala Benirrás.

On the way you will find wonderful places, so I recommend anchoring where you like, since the beauty of going around the island by Yacht Rental Ibiza, is that you also have a margin to improvise.

Beach at Benirrás one of the best beaches of Ibiza
The beach of Bennirrás has amazing clear water thanks to the rocks.

Once you arrive at your destination, you will be in one of the coves with the best sunset in Ibiza.

Third day on board your Ibiza Boat Hire

We have already settled in our Ibiza Boat Hire, it is time to go sailing and enjoy the scenery and the less visited places. You will be surprised by the tranquility that is breathed by this area.

Charter Ibiza
This is where we anchor in Formentera.

I recommend you make a stop for example in Cala de Portinax, beautiful and you may even be alone here. You can take the opportunity to bathe and swim in the purest waters of Ibiza.

Charter boat in Ibiza with skipper anchored in the bay of Portinatx
The bay of Portinaxt is a pearl of turquoise waters that is well protected from all winds, except for the Tramontana (north wind), making it a fantastic spot for our Ibiza boat hire.

Here you cannot get to by car, in fact, if you want to go on foot, a long journey awaits you, which is why most visitors opt for other types of coves.

After enjoying this wonderful little corner, we will set course to Cala San Vicente, a wide and quiet cove where you can spend the night and also have supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy … etc at your finger tips .., so you can replenish supplies if necessary.

Fourth day of navigation in Ibiza

The sun dawns in Cala San Vicente and we are in the equator of the vacation. Here we find ourselves with the dilemma of continue in Ibiza by rental boat or go to see the minor Pitiusa, Formentera.

If you opt for it, (which is what 95% of clients do when they decide to go around the island by Ibiza Boat Hire) it’s time to set a course directly to Formentera and spend most of the day sailing around the impressive minor island of the Pitiuses. You can go down along the coast, seeing the coves east of the island as soon as you leave white waters, Cala nova … etc.

You can stop at Cala Llonga since it is a cove that is very protected from the currents, if you need to take a bath or you prefer to stay here, everything will depend on how you go about your time and mood. But usually you go to Formentera, yes or yes. 😀

Fifth day of navigation in Formentera

We are still sailing on our Ibiza Boat Hire. In Formentera, on Illetes beach, and the only thing you want is to swim, not to sail, listen to music, go to a restaurant in Formentera to eat, practice water sports … enjoy the day. Here you can get off at the Port of La Savina, where you will also find all kinds of services in case you need something on the trip. I would recommend you end the day in Cala Saona, as its waters are spectacular, and it is a very good area to spend the night aboard your sailboat or catamaran for rent in the Balearic Islands and enjoy the tranquility and the starry sky. I believe here, it looks like nowhere.

Illetes Formentera

Sixth day of sailing on your rental boat in Ibiza

With the sensation of seeing the other Ibiza known with that feeling that seems good ends, we set course to Es Vedra to eat and see one of our Ibiza’s favorite sunsets so see on our Boat Rental Ibiza. Navigate next to Es Vedra, see it so close, be below and feel that vibration … here is when you consider whether to return the rental boat, but know that they carry GPS 😀 Here it is already in your hand if you continue sailing, or stay to sleep in Es Vedrá, my recommendation, is that you do not decide beforehand, and wait as you see. It is not a bad place to sleep, but it is not a raft of peace like other areas because it is very big and does not have that shelter that will allow you to rest. Also, if you want to take advantage of the last day, I would head to Cala Conta, one of the 7 most beautiful beaches in the world.

Seventh day of sailing on your rental boat in Ibiza

We woke up in paradise, in Cala Conta and we only want the world to stop and leave us aboard our rental boat forever.

Two Lagoon 380 2018 catamarans hired with skipper in Cala Conta
Two of our catamarans, including our new Lagoon 380 2018, floating on the transparent sea of Cala Conta, located on the west of the island of Ibiza. It is one of our stops within the recommended route of the best beaches of Ibiza.

After lunch we put the last final course towards our original starting point. This is just for friends, so I can only say that you enjoy to the fullest, jump, laugh out loud, hug, toast for life … and arrive in time to end our Ibiza Boat Hire, remember that you can return the rented boat during the afternoon, if you wish. And if you have not seen enough you can always ask for another Ibiza Boat Rental for more days next year.
