Sailing routes Ibiza Formentera

These sailing routes between Ibiza and Formentera are an example of some weekly routes that some of our customers followed on our fleet of boats for hire in Ibiza the past seasons.
Map Ibiza Formentera

When our sailing boats in Ibiza and Formentera are hired for some of our famous Ibiza boat trips, we always return the same starting point in San Antonio or Cala Jondal by sunset. Same for hen parties Ibiza unless it's a weekend party.

But when our yachts are rented for more than one day and our customers wish to sleep at anchor, then we spend the night at a cove that is well protected from the wind and especially from the waves, so we are safe and comfortable for good night sleep. For this reason, the weather will play a key role in choosing where to anchor our rental vessels and the itinerary to follow. The prevailing winds in the summer are East winds, and usually quite mild, but we can't lower the guard, and the skipper will always keep an eye on the weather forecast.

One or two-week routes around Ibiza and Formentera

We also offer one and two week routes around Ibiza and Formentera on the vessels that we offer for Ibiza boat hire. If we depart from San Antonio, we can spend the first night at a nearby cove (1) Cala Bassa , Cala Conta, or Conejera Island (quieter). Alternatively we can start from Cala Jondal and go straight to Formentera.

Then go down to (2) Cala Tarida or Cala D'hort, and continue to the SW of Ibiza where we can find the magic islet of Es Vedra. Then (3) Cala Porroig or Cala Jondal (Blue Marlin), south of Ibiza, or even book a buoy (30 euro) in Ses Salines. We will continue to (4) Espalmador Island (turquoise waters like the Caribbean), where we can also reserve a buoy since anchoring is prohibited on the bottoms of Posidonia, very common on this tiny island. The next day we will head South, to the island of Formentera, and we can anchor by the famous beach of Illetes. The following day we will arrive at Cala Saona (6) where we will anchor for the night and will jump in the most turquoise waters in the Mediterranean. Then we will keep on going South, and will sail around the South of Formentera, by the lighthouses of Barbary and La Mola, and we will arrive at (7) Es Calo de San Agustin and Es Pujols (East of Formentera). Then we cam jump back to Ibiza and spend a night in the quiet port of Santa Eulalia (8). We will head North, to the island of Tagomago (9). Then, already far from the hustle and bustle of Ibiza town, we will get to the Northern coves of Ibiza, Portinax (10), the unknown but fabulous Calo des Porcs (11) and Benirrás (12). We will start getting closer to our base in San Antonio, spending one of the last nights at Cala Salada(13) and then the last night, back in San Antonio (14).
